Therapy sessions offer an opportunity to explore your emotions and questions in a safe, supportive and nurturing space. Individual, couples, relationship, and group sessions offer a supportive space for well being. Sessions are based on individual needs and incorporate a combination of psychological counseling, art therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, and mindfulness.
Therapy sessions with Megan are offered in Philadelphia, PA, the surrounding Mainline suburbs, and via online video sessions throughout the state of Pennsylvania and Washington, DC. Virtual online art therapy provided based upon individual state regulations. All session rates include support via email throughout the week in-between sessions.
Private Practice Rates
In my private practice, I am an out-of-network provider and I do not bill insurance companies directly. All of my clients are self-pay, meaning they pay for therapy services up front. Some clients choose to seek insurance reimbursement for out-of-network services, while others do not.
Insurance Reimbursement:
I am an out-of-network provider. As such, I do not bill insurance companies directly. However, if you choose, I am able to provide a detailed receipt for services which you can submit to your health insurance for reimbursement. Many plans cover out-of-network therapy sessions.
If you would like to verify out-of-network coverage prior to beginning therapy, contact your insurance company to see if your plan covers out of network psychotherapy providers. Call the number on the back of your insurance card, and ask the following questions: Do I have a mental or behavioral health policy with out-of-network benefits? If so, what are my benefits? How do I submit for reimbursement for out-of-network psychotherapy sessions?
Payments
Ma Zen Space accepts payment via major credit cards and health savings credit cards.
To complete registration for sessions and workshops, you will need to submit payment in advance of services provided.
Cancellation Policy
In the event of an unplanned emergency, missed sessions can be refunded on a case by case basis. Otherwise 24 hours notice is preferred and your credit card will be charged a fee for missed appointments. Workshops are non refundable.
